Lake Toba
In addition to nature tourism and ecotourism, Lake Toba also be developed into sports tourism. To animate it, the government and the tourism industry of North Sumatra, numerous tours with a mix of sports and cultural arts. Some events, the Lake Toba Ecoturism Sport (LTETS) V with Kite Flying Festival activities (paragliding) International, the International Coastal Volly game, Pro Boxing degree, run 10 K races, Mountain Bike race, motocross, which will be coupled with the International Festival of Youth, Marine Sports (FIPOB) 2009 hosted by the North Sumatra Province.
FIPOB which will be implemented in several districts and municipalities in North Sumatra, including Samosir in Lake Toba region which will host the water sports events.
LTETS and FIPOB will be held in May-June 2009, the Feast of Lake Toba is planned in August 2009 was a party with the District in the area of Lake Toba.
