Dread



Dreamer adventure begins with a meeting with his cousin Curly, Arai. Arai who had just left his father, did not show expression of sadness as Curly's father picked her up. Toughness is what makes Ikal amazed. Plus, Arai temperament full of imagination, adventure and a sincere heart, makes Curly did not want to lose it though. They also met Jimbron, an orphan who stutters, add exciting adventure through the world full of teen dreams.

"Dream on, because God will embrace those dreams," said Arai to Curly. Dreams for menginjakan foot and lectures in Paris, they planted in the liver. They do not dither when the obstacles one by one to arrive. The harder they work to pursue a dream. Their spirit was further heightened when an inspiring teacher to lecture in Europe.

Graduate school, Arai and Curly try their luck on the island of Java. They continue studying at the University of Indonesia, while working odd jobs to pay for it. Armed with a bachelor's degree, an opportunity to gain college scholarships in Europe they were not wasted. Will they be able to reach and menginjakan foot in Europe.

With the background of the beautiful island of Belitung, this film depicts a life struggle of a touching story to reach the dream, the beauty of friendship, and sincere love between father and son.

Dread movie certainly will circulate in theaters on December 17, 2009. At the premiere of this film, Riri Riza, director Dreamer, expect this film will inspire younger generations to reach the dreams. "The film gives an inspiring story through the adventure of three young teenagers who underwent the world full of struggles and love stories that entertain," he said, adding.

The dreamer is a sequel to the film Laskar Pelangi is also a filmed adaptation of Andrea Hirata's novel of the same title. In this film, Andrea with Salman Aristo, Riri Riza and Mira lesmana creating them. Supported by several famous artists such as, Nazriel Ilham (Ariel), Nugie, Lukman Sardi, Rieke Dyah Pitaloka, Mathias Muchus, the film also introduces young talent from the Pacific Islands, Vikri Setiawan (Curly), Rendy Ahmad (Arai), Azwir Fitrianto (Jimbron) and Maudy Ayunda (Zakiah Nurmala).
