Sekaten Gamelan Gamelan is the device most associated with the rites of Islam are considered and believed to have existed since the era of the Majapahit Kingdom. Sekatenan activities have existed since the time of the Demak kingdom as the first Islamic kingdom in Java in the mid-16th century.
