Bahari Monument



Bahari is a memorial monument located in the city of Tegal, Central Java. Being in the tourist area of ​​Pantai Indah Alam, the monument was inaugurated on December 20, 2008 by Chief of Naval Staff (KSAL), Admiral TNI Tedjo Edhi Purdijatno SH, witnessed by the Deputy Governor of Central Java, Rustriningsih MSi and the Mayor of Tegal, Adi Winarso S. Sos .
Tegal is known as the City Bahari because apart geographically situated in the northern coast of Central Java, the city is also home to the establishment of People's Security Agency - Sea (Sea BKR) in the early independence of the Republic of Indonesia, as the embryo of the establishment of the Navy today.
