Beautiful Glagah Beach is located in the Kulon Progo Regency of Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) and is about 40 km from the city of Yogyakarta. This beach is famous for big waves.
Throughout Glagah Beach location up to several hundred meters to the west, you can find a lagoon with water flowing into the river estuary. Laguna beach is divided into two areas, locations that are still covered by coastal plants and grasses and sand dune area directly adjacent to the ocean. You can cross to the sand dune area through a connecting bridge which is located not far from the river mouth.
