Tourism Regions Environmental Education
Tourism Regions Environmental Education (KWPLH) located at Km. 23 Balikpapan-Samarinda highway. This area is a conservation area or a Honey Bear, known by the scientific name "Helarctos malayanus". This animal is classified as one of the protected animals in the world.
In contrast to the maintenance of other bears, Honey Bear enclosure at the Environmental Education Area Tourism (KWPLH) which occupies an area of 1.3 ha. It is designed in such a way as to be close to the actual habitat.
KWPLH have 5 (five) tail bears a kesemuannya a bear who was captured and commercialized by the parties are not responsible. In addition to sun bear enclosure, Sightseeing is also equipped with a "mini-information center-bears" (bears information center) is specially designed to help children understand the existence of other types of bears in the world.
