Rupat island located in the northern province of Riau. The beach area is Tanjung Pasir Panjang Medang, Bay Tanjung Rhu and Punak in District Rupat and dealing directly with the City of Dumai, can easily be achieved because of Dumai available for passenger public transport sea, the island directly adjacent to Singapore and Malaysia, making this island is believed to could rival the Island of the Gods, Bali, as one tourist destination location regional / international.
With white sand beaches along the 12 km which is the longest white sand beach in Indonesia, an added value for the island. This makes the National Team for the National Tourism Masterplan Rupat name to the project include the development of tourist areas in Indonesia.
