Thirty Hill National Man




Thirty Hill National Park has a total area is 144,223 ha. With the ecosystem of lowland tropical rain forests (lowland tropical rain forest), this region is the transition between swamp forest and mountain forest ecosystems are unique and different compared to other national parks in Indonesia. Bukit Tigapuluh an expanse of hills that separate from Bukit Barisan mountain range located on the border of Jambi and Riau Province, this area is the catchment area (catchment area), thus forming small rivers and are upstream of major rivers in the surrounding area. Several types of fauna that can be found at Bukit Tigapuluh National Parks, among others: Sumatran Tiger, Bear, Tapir, Gibbon, Kancil, Warthog, Bird hornbills, Kuaw, and various other wildlife species. Meanwhile, a suspected rare species endemic flora in the region is Fungus Home Rimau (Rafflesia haseltii). Apart from the habitat of various types of flora and fauna and protected, BTNP region is also the place to live and settle some tribal communities such as Talang Mamak, Son of Old Woods and Malays, who make this area interesting to explore.
