Bali Museum



Bali Museum is located in downtown Denpasar, precisely at Jalan Mayor Wisnu, east Puputan Badung field in the south and Pura Jagatnatha. This museum is the oldest museum in Bali and is the trigger of the presence of other museums.

Based on the collection, the Museum of Bali is an ethnographic museum that owns and exhibit cultural objects from prehistoric times until now that mnecerminkan all elements of Balinese culture consists of a collection of archaeological, historika collections, art collections and collections etnografika.

Bali Museum which was built in 1910 using traditional architecture with Balinese ornaments. There are three main buildings to showcase the museum's collection:

1. Gedung Karangasem, East Bali with unique architecture to exhibit a collection of Panca Yadnya.

2. Denpasar House, to showcase collections of prehistory, history and fine arts.

3. Building Buleleng, Bali style architecture with the North to show off a collection of traditional fabrics.

Weeks • Thursday: 8:00 • 15:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 • 12:30 pm
Saturday and public holiday: Closed.
