The beach is located in the Village Batakan Batakan, Panyipatan District, District Tanah Laut (Tala), about 125 kilometers east of Banjarmasin City (capital of South Kalimantan Province). To reach the location Batakan Coast, from the city of Banjarmasin is relatively easy because the road conditions are good enough. Although the course of a winding and up and down, but it presents a beautiful natural scenery in the form of rows of verdant hills, the yellow expanse of rice fields, as well as the fishing village located on the waterfront. Batakan beach is a tourist attraction with an integrated marine mountain nature panorama, because in the east there is a pine hills that are part of the Meratus Mountains.
