Traditional House Nggela



Traditional House Village and Weaving Nggela Nggela located about 70 km south of the city of Ende. In a traditional house complex there are 17 pieces of custom house inhabited by 17 Mosalaki. Traditional celebrations like Lolo loka, loka pare and joka ju conducted in May-June.

There are as many as 2 pieces of ivory each 1 meter long and 2 meters which is a relic of the Portuguese era. About 3 km from the town of Ende Nggela contained Ae Wau (sulfur water), bathing place which is believed to cure all diseases.
