Lore Lindu National Park



Lore Lindu National Park is located in the district of Poso and Donggala and an altitude of 200-2610 meters above sea level. The highest peak is Mount Nokilalaki (2355 m) and mountain Tokosa / Rorekatimbu (2610 m). Form topography varies from flat, sloping, somewhat steep, steep, to very steep.
Lore Lindu National Park is situated between two major fault in Central Sulawesi. In mountainous areas, are generally derived from acid rocks such as Gneisses, Schists and granite, a trait sensitive to erosion.
Lakustrin formations are found in the East National Park, lake plains are generally flat or cloudy. Material precipitated from a mixture of sediment rocks, metamorphosed and granite. The western part alivium commonly found formations shaped alluvial fan / koluvial or deposition of river plains or swamp like the back porch. The source of this alluvial material derived from metaforfosa rocks and granite.
